Pointer Sisters Jump

In Chapter 7 of Mix Tapes and Stuff, Mix asks what "Jump" song of the early 1980s was better.

The question was a little off because Van Halen's Jump was a different genre and appealed to different demographics than this song.



When this song came out, The Pointer Sisters had a long successful career that began 10 years earlier. and this was a big song for them. The video featuring all these jumps and sports was far better than I remembered it.
