Meet Lenny

A new story and a new character from Schuyler we get to know. Mix already had a nickname that everyone knew him by. You also met Popcorn, Boy-Lee and other friends from Schuyler High. In chapter 1 we meet Lenny, who really loves the band Motorhead.
Here's part of chapter 1:

Lenny liked heavy metal music. He loved the band Motörhead to the point that he wanted to be called Lemmy, after the lead singer. No one could remember to call him Lemmy so everyone ended up saying “Lenny—sorry—Lemmy.” Mix thought it ironic that Lenny—sorry—Lemmy wore an Iron Maiden tee shirt through the opening in his denim jacket.

The faded black leather of the front seats car looked worn along with the rips in backseat made the car look beat up. The car did have a cassette player and AM/FM radio that wasn’t original in a 1969 Oldsmobile 442. People didn’t buy music on cassettes back then. The car would’ve more than likely had an 8-track tape player. Lemmy must have updated his car with the new stereo from R&S. That was the only big car place around.
