Wrestling Book Recommends
I read a few books about professional wrestling recently. Each book was a good read and I put high ratings for each on Goodreads.
Bob Backlund from All-American Boy to Professional Wrestling’s World Champion
Bob Backlund was the wrestling champ in this region from 1978 to 1983. He had matches with every big name of the time and his matches made stars of those he wrestled. He had this goody-goody image but the guy went against some tough dudes in the day. He left the business as it blew up into something huge. Backlund to his disadvantage went against the glitzy celebrity show that the 1980s would become. He wasn’t Ric Flair or Hulk Hogan so his reign ended. I could and will probably write a long blog about Backlund. In the meanwhile check out the book.
Tammy Sytch Shattered
Tammy Sytch was a superstar of the 1990s. She was also a sad example of how wrestling can take someone use them then chew them up. She will not portray herself as a victim in her book except for one section, maybe two. She is one of those celebs that many want to see wake up and comeback stronger. We really want to root for her. Even after reading the book, I don’t know if that will happen soon.

Stuart Carapola wrote a lot of books available on amazon.com. These books are under 5 dollars. I’ve read a few and I can’t say I learned a lot. They are definitely enjoyable reads. Well worth the money and time. If you want a little feel good book about wrestling or Star Wars, check out Stuart Carapola’s books.
