Mix Tape's History Remix

New authors, free books and laughs

I was one of the authors at the Long Beach Island Surf City Library book fair on July 14th. I had a good time. The library is easy to find and near a busy street. When I had a chance I went to Woody's for a footlong hot dog.

The authors were in a meeting room near the front entrance so we were easy to find. There were all different genres represented. Margaret Hawke has an exciting book published. There were children's authors such as Carole Robinson. Karen Kelly Boyce had her books and the announcement of the third in her Nun's series will be released. Judith Labell had copies of Life's Journey. I sat between two poets. Joanne Berroa had her historical fiction. Nikkie Rae has a series of really interesting books out.

I would never had the chance to see all these authors had it not been for Margaret Hawke and the work of the staff of the Surf City Library staff. It was a great experience.

I had cards available and copies of my prior books. Maybe we can do this again sometime.
