Wild West City

Wild West City has been around since the early 1970’s that I know of. Their site doesn’t give a history and they don’t have a Wikipedia site to confirm when they started. They do have commercials on Youtube.  They also have a Facebook and Twitter page. They're only open from May to October this year. 

Like many historic villages I wrote about in other blogs and sites, the village has historic buildings and re-enactors that bring the place to life. The whole place is devoted to life as it was in the old west. They have rope twirling displays, stagecoach, train and pony rides. They have a schedule of events of historic events for vistors to enjoy. In August they will have an author signing and Larry Storch from F-Troop. 

Even though it’s located way out in Netcong, it’s still worth a trip.
