What a Circus in Las Vegas!
In chapter 9 of Dream Dancing, Abby says that she played games at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. Of all the famous casinos, this is the most odd in such a town.
This is the place.
Circus Circus was first opened in 1968. It wasn't the bohemith that it is today. If you want a hint, you can see the 1971 James Bond movie Diamonds Are Forever. They had the indoor carnival games as well as slots. There was one hotel tower and the playing floor.
Today, Circus Circus has 3767 guest rooms on 68 acres of land. It's owned by MGMResorts International.

Tha sounds impressive but inside the buildings, it's a gigantic carnival. There is a double-loop, double-corkscrew roller coaster called the Canyon Blaster. Go to the Adventuredome which is a 5 acre indoor amusement park. There is a roller coaster, rock climbing wall, and a 18 hole miniature golf course.
Since its Las Vegas, there is the Chapel of the Fountain wedding chapel.
As a personal note, I went there in 1993. One of the things I remember most was the Horse Around Snack Bar. It's a rotating snack bar. It was 2am and I went there for a foot long hot dog and to watch a trapeze act. In an area with gambling, alcohol and cocktail waitresses, there is this rotating snack bar and 2am trapeze acts.
