Lemmy-What happened when you first heard Motorhead?

I heard the first Motorhead album when I was thirteen. Don’t understand all the words, it was garbled at times. The guitars were really loud and drums and drums. They didn’t do love songs or the usual dance all night songs. This moved with power and it got to me. It understood things aren’t all dance all night and love songs. 

There’s alcoholism in the world. There’s lonliness and feeling difference. There’s meanness. You have to sound mean when you don’t want to just to get by. 

I’ll never meet Motorhead, but they get me.
