I went into this list prepared to listen to every album, no matter what. There is no way I would’ve heard this album any other way. I’m glad I found this selection and listened to it. This is a whole new sound from a different part of the world.

That is the joy and wonder of music. You don’t always need to know the words, but you get the inflections. How the sound is made tells the culture.

The other revelation is how much the music is alike. Folk is folk everywhere. Guitars are the same.
