Suspicious about Suspicion

I recently saw the movie Suspicion starring Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine. I wasn’t in a rush to watch it because it was directed by Alfred Hitchcock. You'll know from past blogs, specifically June 19, 2017, that I like Cary Grant. I know, Hitchcock is one of the great directors of all time. I saw Birds a dozen times when I was a kid and it was boring. Lifeboatwas Ok.

I’ve been told that Hitchcock is a slow suspenseful director. I just feel too short for suspense.

This movie wasn’t slow. It’s a mere 99 minutes. I like Cary Grant the comedian, here he is a dramatic actor. I can see how he is the charmer. Could he be a killer?

The movie had me wondering. Best of all there is a twist at the end.

On the whole, it was an enjoyable movie.
